Continue your journey to greymouth from where you will board the world famous TRANZ ALPINE TRAIN which is one of the top six scenic train journeys in the world. The train crosses the huge and fertile farmlands of the Canterbury plains. The highest point is 737 metres at the alpine village at Arthurs pass. The scenery through this route is mind blowing.
